Becoming a Member of
Emerald Empire Gun Club
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Emerald Empire Gun Club (EEGC).
We ask that you attend an orientation class that is held on the second Sunday of each month. Orientation classes are held in the Multi-Purpose Building at EEGC from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Please call or see our website calendar for any last minute schedule changes.
Any of the Range Masters working on Sunday will be happy to direct you to the orientation class. If you need directions to EEGC, please let me know or check the map on our website.
During the orientation class we process applications, review details of the joining process, review club rules and safety procedures, and end with a walking tour of the facilities and answer any questions you may have. Hearing and eye protection are required; please bring them with you. Face coverings are required in all buildings (including the classroom). During inclement weather, also bring an umbrella or rain coat.
Orientation class space is limited. Please send an email to reserve your seat.
I look forward to welcoming you to Emerald Empire Gun Club! Contact me with any questions.
Education & Training Officer
The membership year begins June 1st, and ends May 31st of the following year. Dues for a full year are $240. If you join after June, dues are prorated.
The club requires NRA membership. If you are already a member of NRA, please bring your NRA card so we can note the membership number and expiration date on your application. If you are not an NRA member, you can join at orientation for as little as $10.00 per year.
The operation and maintenance of EEGC relies solely upon volunteer hours provided by the membership. Over the course of the membership year, members can reduce their renewal dues for the following year in progressive steps by volunteering some hours for the club. If you perform 60 or more hours of volunteering for the club, your entire dues for the next year will be eliminated. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available including (but not limited to) administrative & committee work, maintenance & work projects, and working as a Range Master on our Public Range.
