Benefits of Membership
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Emerald Empire Gun Club (EEGC). Non-members must pay a range fee each time they come to the Public Range. As a member, you and your family can use any one of our six ranges Tuesday-Sunday from 8am to sundown. Every Monday we are closed to shooting for volunteer members to do maintenance on the entire range. Member range use is also limited at times by classes, competitions, and on some holidays. See our calendar. Joining EEGC If you are interested in becoming a member, you must preregister for an Orientation Class. Classes are scheduled once a month from 12 PM to 4 PM. For exact days & dates and/or to register, contact [email protected] During the orientation class we process applications, review details of the joining process, review club rules and safety procedures, and review member responsibilities. We also do a walking tour of the facilities and answer any questions you may have. All persons are required to use protection for their hearing and eyesight. During inclement weather, bring an umbrella or rain coat. If you need directions to the EEGC Range, check the map on our website. We look forward to welcoming you to Emerald Empire Gun Club! Membership dues
The membership year begins June 1st and ends May 31st of the following year. The family membership includes a spouse or domestic partner, and children and stepchildren under 18 residing full or part time in the same household. Dues for a full year are $240 and are prorated if joining after June 1st. The dues cover all qualifying family members. The member and family also have an opportunity to volunteer and reduce or eliminate the next year's dues. Member Volunteers The operation and maintenance of our EEGC range relies solely on volunteer hours provided by the membership. Members may reduce their dues for the following year in progressive steps by volunteering to help run and maintain the ranges. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available including working as a Range Master on our Public Range, maintenance & work projects, and administrative & committee work. If you perform 60 or more volunteer hours for the club, you will have no dues for the following year.
