NEW “ONE GUN” RULE

Emerald Empire Gun Club is still attempting to understand the Oregon Gun Storage Law (ORS 166.395 Securing Firearms) and its impact on shooting ranges. At present, we believe the new law requires shooters to secure their guns if they leave their shooting position even temporarily.

When you come to the Public Range....
   1. We will only allow one gun per person on the Public Range during normal Business hours.
   2. Bring one gun, shoot it, return it to your vehicle, retrieve another, and so on.
   3. If you have a holstered pistol, whether carried concealed or openly, on your person, it does not count as your “one” gun. However, if you decide to remove the pistol from the holster, it then becomes your “one” gun, and any other gun must be returned to your vehicle.
   4. If you need to leave the Range for any reason, you must take your gun to your vehicle for storage. DO NOT take it into the Office!

Please arrange your guns and gear in advance to facilitate compliance and avoid confusion at the Range.
